News Permit & Press Card
Note; you must always carry your Royal Parks News Permit and Press Card when working on estate property and present them both to police if you are stopped.

The media are often asked to present this for inspection ensuring that you have the correct documentation with you to work in the designated areas covered by the news permit.

Rear, Side of Downing Street & Horseguards Parade
Photographers with Royal Parks News Permits and a Press Card are permitted and allowed to stand on Horse Guards Parade to take photographs into the side of Downing Street and are also permitted and allowed to stand in St James’s Park, on the grassy area to photograph into the rear of Downing Street.
