STAFF / FREELANCE; I enclose an original letter (not a copy) from an editorial executive on Company Headed Paper. Stating that 'I certify (Full Name) is eligible for a UK Press Card because he/she needs to identify themselves in public'.

The Press Card remains the property of the BAJ. It is a condition of issue the card must be returned to the BAJ if requested, if the card holder leaves the union, leaves their employment, fails to pay their membership fees and or leaves the industry.

If this is the case, The UKPCA will be informed immediately and will be asked to cancel the Press Card. The national card database will also be updated once the card is cancelled by the BAJ.
